How to Install Jupiter X Theme

Jupiter X is one of the popular WordPress themes that have a default page builder plugin. Previously, this theme used WP Bakery as its default page builder. Today, it uses Elementor. Jupiter X itself is developed by Artbees and marketed via Themeforest. You can get this theme for $59.

How to install Jupiter X Theme

After completing the purchase on Themeforest, you will have access to download the ZIP file of the theme Jupiter X theme. Login to Themeforest and go to the Downloads page by hovering your mouse over your profile name on the top-right corner and select Downloads.

Click the Downloads button on the Jupiter X theme and select Installable WordPress file only. Or, if you want to download all of the supporting files (including the documentation), you can select All files & documentation.

If you selected All files & documentation option on the step above, unzip the file and find the jupiterx-v1.xx.x.zip file.

Login to your WordPress dashboard and go to Appearance -> Themes. Click the Add New button on the top side.

Upload the zip file of the Jupiter X theme (the jupiterx-v1.xx.x.zip file) by clicking the Upload Theme button. Click the Choose File button to select the file and click the Install Now button to install the theme.

Wait a moment until the installing process is done and click the Activate button to activate the Jupiter X theme.

You will be asked to register Jupiter X to activate its features. To do so, click the Control Panel link to open the Jupiter X control panel.

Click the Activate Product button on the Jupiter X control panel.

Enter your email address and Envato purchase code (you can get the purchase code on your email or from Themeforest dashboard) and click the Submit button.

Next, go to Appearance -> Install Plugins to install the core plugins of the Jupiter X theme. The required plugins are:

  • Advanced Custom Fields
  • Elementor
  • Jupiter X Core
  • Raven

Tick the plugins you want to install, set the action to Install from the dropdown menu and click the Apply button.

Wait a moment until the installation process is done and activate the plugins once they are installed (go to Plugins -> Installed Plugins to activate the plugins). Your Jupiter X theme is ready to use.
