One of the benefits of using Elementor Pro is that you can add a dynamic link. The dynamic link feature of Elementor Pro allows you to set a certain action on a link, including starting a new WhatsApp chat. This feature is especially useful if you often use Elementor to create landing pages for your marketing campaigns as you can effortlessly add a WhatsApp button to your landing pages without installing an additional plugin. In this article, we will show you how use this feature to add a WhatsApp button in Elementor.
In case you are new to Elementor, you can read our previous article to learn how to use it.
To get started, edit your page with Elementor. On the Elementor editor, add the Button widget to the canvas area.
On the settings panel, click the database icon on the Link field under the Button block under the Content tab and select Contact URL.
Click the wrench icon on the Contact URL field and select WhatsApp. Enter your WhatsApp number on the Number field.
In order to make button work properly, you need to add the code area on the Number field. For instance, if you are an Indonesian, you can enter +6285647xxxxxx instead of 085647xxxxxx.
Once done making the settings, you can then style up your button from the Style tab. If you want it, you can also add a WhatsApp icon to your button. You can simply click the Icon Library icon to add a WhatsApp icon to your button.
