WordPress Custom Fields

custom fields

Hi ,

The page builder era has made it possible for you to create any type of website with a no-code approach. Even so, you need to have some basic knowledge around WordPress to step further. One of which is custom field.

What is custom field?

Just like the name suggests, custom field is an extra field to store additional data type in which the data type is not available in WordPress by default. If you have ever used WooCommerce, it is the perfect example of how custom fields are implemented. In the context of WooCommerce, product-related elements like price, stock, and weight are example of custom fields. These elements are not available in WordPress by default.

You can add the elements above yourself by creating custom fields.

By mastering custom fields, you can create a more complex site such as listing site, directory site, movie review site, and so on -- without touching a single line of code! Today, most page builder plugins such as Elementor, Divi Builder, and Brizy already support custom fields.

One more thing. We are working on some tutorials to create complex websites with WordPress using no-code approach. So, before we release the articles, we encourage you to understand custom field first :). Click the button below to learn more.
